What we do

Exercise is a fundamental element of health. At Gerons Performance Academy (GPA) we believe the correlation between physical activity and wellbeing is significant, and worth the investment. The cornerstone of our model is to provide our clients with highly trained and quality professionals, and to facilitate each individuals goal; whether it be weight loss, strength training or rehabilitation. The rate of muscle pain is growing amongst all demographics and there are often two culprits; inactivity or incorrect activity. To combat this, our team of exercise scientists work collaboratively with other allied health professionals – this ensures we put our best foot forward. Our network of professionals have experience in different components of health, from physical treatment, nutritional advice, and evidence-based exercise. This eliminates guess work and mitigates the risk of inconsistent treatment or incorrect training.

Semi private training

Before starting group training, we advise clients complete our introductory training program, which consists of six 1on1 sessions. This prepares the client and allows coaches to establish a baseline. 

From there, group training is limited to 4 members per class – this ensures zero injuries and maximum quality. Our training programs are founded on evidence-based principles, which take into account every individuals progress report, with a review completed at the end of each phase.

Progress reports are also implemented into 1on1 sessions, and frequent monitoring according to individual needs

Progress Reports

Progress reports are a way to monitor individual development as we work towards advancing your physical fitness to achieve the desired goals. Monitoring progress is also engaging, and shifts the focus from the finish line, to the incremental milestones your achieving.
